Cid Project. Origin Mexico.

► Now who would have guessed that out of Mexico comes the most wonderful dark and heavy electronic music. Actually I found this yesterday through a russian blog ... it's a small world.
Gustavo Cid aka Cid Project has recently released an EP with 8 tracks. Not much vocals here - just Gustavo ranting the same lines way back in the mix. Together with the mighty synths and themes it's nevertheless really catchy. Almost all tracks has the same high level of composing.
► Cid explains his style as "the aggressive beats of TBM music and the melody and atmosphere of electroclash" which is really precise. At first you'll notice the classic EBM but dwelve deeper and you'll enjoy all the poppy details.
► It seems Gustavo Cid has been around for a long time - Cid Project was born in 1993 - and has played a lot of Mexican Clubs, including a gig with VNV Nation. But this new EP is the first official release. Hopefully we'll hear a lot more from Cid in the future.
